QUEO

We are the Barrionuevo Torres family, specifically three brothers: Alberto, Luis and Miguel Angel. We are the fourth generation of olive growers and since 2021, the first to market our own products.

When we took over the baton from our parents, Alberto and Luisa Fernanda, we decided to change the direction of the family business dedicated until then to the cultivation of olive trees to become marketers of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, our precious EVOO. A family business but modern, focused on the creation of a high-end EVOO brand with a high spirit of innovation. Our work begins with the formation of the fruit in our own olive groves and ends with the sale of the final product and the transmission of the new philosophy of extra virgin olive oil to the consumer.

Young but dynamic company, linked to the world of olive oil since before 1930, when our maternal grandfather inaugurated a small olive oil mill in Porcuna, Jaén, D. Luis Torres Morente inaugurated a small oil mill in Porcuna, Jaén.

Our field strategy is based on being a productive model in rural areas, sustainable, that creates wealth and helps to fix the population in our town, Porcuna.

The name of our company comes from a peculiar word used by the inhabitants of our village, QUEO, which means parsimony, tranquility, and so are our olive groves, a haven of peace in the countryside of Jaén that are capable of producing the best olives to create the best product of our land: EVOO.

We have Premium QUEO oils

QUEO Porcuna

Sea of centennial olive trees

They are very early harvest oils, rich in aromas and complex flavors, but extremely balanced.

We are environmentally responsible, so we are integrated in the network of integrated producers of Andalucia. We use glass and recyclable cardboard in all our packaging and apply innovation and exclusivity in our designs.

Porcuna is an ancient land where countless cultures have lived throughout history. Cradle of the Iberian culture and of the Turdetano people; sea of centenary olive trees that conforms its countryside giving shape to a spectacular EVOO for the consumer.

Porcuna is located in the geographical region of the Campiña del Valle Medio del Guadalquivir between the provinces of Jaén and Córdoba. It occupies the middle course of the Salado River and has an orography of hillocks and disparate soils such as sandy, albarizos, bujeos or polvillares that give very special features to our extra virgin olive oils.
